The Process
Capturing and Encoding: The process of capturing video footage from various sources, anolog or digital, and encoding it into a DVD-compliant MPEG2 stream. CLIP owns and deploys top-of-the-line capturing and encoding hardware and software infrastructure run by its well-experienced staff of video editors.
Editing:The process of editing video footage
Sound Formatting:Creating AC3 sound file for Dolby Digital 5.1 or creating stereo track from a mono sound track. CLIP supports up to 8 audio tracks for multi-lingual audio support.
Menu Creation and User Interface: Creating the DVD menus and buttons and implementing the interface map. CLIP provides both still and motion menus. Menus may include slide shows, filmographies, etc.
SubtitlesThe process of applying up to 32 subtitles including Arabic.
Angles:CLIP supports up to 9 angles (different viewpoints that could be selected during playback)
Scene/chapter Selection:The process of dividing the movie into a number of "chapters". Users can later jump to any chapter in the movie by selecting it from the menu or from their remote control. Samples (link to a sample scene selection)
Authoring
MasteringCustomers can choose to receive their masters in DVD-R or DLT format for replication.
Art-work and Disc Face Design: The production of the cover, insert and disc face to be delivered in replication facility printing standards.
